The Soom doll is made in Korea and they make a few different sizes and models of dolls. I have two of their smaller YOSD sized dolls that they make, called Teenie Gems. Soom makes fantasy dolls that they put out monthly, called Monthly Dolls and they usually come with both fantasy and human parts.
The two Soom dolls that I own are Beyla and Grit. Beyla was made in 2009 and she is a Unicorn, with a beautiful translucent horn, hoofs and a tail. Grit came out in 2010 and is a gargoyle with wings, horns and fantasy hoofs and paws.
I have named my Beyla Moth and Grit is Banruu. I find these dolls to be very well made and pose very easily.
Moth and Banruu
Moth in the snow
Moth and the glass globe
Banruu climbing a tree in the backyard. He likes being up high in trees
Moth and Banruu. Banruu finds the unicorn girl Moth resting in a clearing in the forest. She has been hiding from him ever since he made it clear that he could never love her in the way she wants.
Banruu sees himself as being cool and confident. Like most of us he ignores his weaker traits, which for him is the fact that he is still young and inexperienced
Banruu is at a loss here, he doesn't understand that Moth is basically an unhappy girl. It is difficult for her being half unicorn, she feel different, unloved and alone. She was hoping that Banruu would love her and bring her happiness, but he cannot love her in the way she needs to be loved.
Banruu feels most at home outdoors because of the danger he senses around him. He craves danger and excitement more than anything because he wishes to push himself to his limits and feel the sweetness of life when that life is in danger.
Banruu really is a poser, he wears a kilt because it makes him feel like more of a warrior.. oh yeah and he knows that he looks good wearing it.
Don't say personal things about me, Banruu says.. I don't want to be angry with you.
He is very sensitive to critisism as you can see, but he is young and his ego is very over inflated
Banruu likes to be in tune with all of nature. He is blending his Self with the Wind Spirit here.
